Samuel Animashaun Perry, often known as Broda Shaggi, is a well-known Nigerian comedian, actor, and creator of skits. He received the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, or AMVCA, for "Best Actor in a Comedy."

 
Shaggi received the award for best actor in a comedy drama, film, or television series for his work in the film "Inside Life."
 
In a tweet in April, Broda Shaggi announced his nomination for the prize.
 
"Hello, how are you?" he wrote. I've received another nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy from the AMVCA. For my parts in SURVIVORS and INSIDE LIFE, I received two nominations in the category.
