Femi Adesina has disproved the idea that Aso Rock is haunted by evil spirits after spending eight years there.
Reuben Abati, a former official in
the government of former president Goodluck Jonathan, made the assertion that
there are demonic spirits at Aso Rock.
In a piece headlined "The
spiritual side of Aso Rock," Adesina, President Muhammadu Buhari's special
adviser on media and publicity, refuted the assertion.
Abati reportedly stated that the
state house "should be converted into a museum and abandoned" in an
interview with Politics Nigeria. He continued by saying that a priest had said
Aso Rock was "full of evil spirit."
Additionally, he claimed that he
was hurt, that he was unable to breathe normally for six months, and that he
"never slept in the apartment they gave me in that villa for an
hour."
However, after seven years of
residing in the same house that was originally allotted to Abati, Adesina has
rejected the assertion made by his predecessor.
