337 TOTAL SCORE IN JAMB
Lotanna Azuokeke, a student at Bishop Otubelu Juniorate in Trans Ekulu, Enugu, has shattered a school record by earning 337 points overall and 99 in mathematics in the recently completed Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The media adviser to the bishop of the Diocese of Nike (Anglican Communion), who founded the institution, Dr. Chiwuike Uba, stated this in a statement.
Uba claims that Azuokeke, an Anambra State native who hails from the town of Oba in the Idemmili South Local Government Area LGA, earned 88 in chemistry, 86 in physics, and 64 in English.
He claimed that Azuokeke submitted
an application to study electrical and electronic engineering at the University
of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), his top preference.
"Azokeke broke the record that
Chidera Obi set five years ago," he continued, "who scored 329 marks
to win overall best."
