VIDEO: 100 PEOPLE KILLED IN TWO DAYS- PLATEAU CITIZENS PROTEST

Youths and women have taken to the streets in Plateau State's Mangu Local Government Area to protest the constant attacks and killings carried out by suspected bandits, terrorists, or herders.

This has caused tension in the area.

According to AL-LABEEB MEDIA, the protesters were clad in all-black clothing and armed with leaflets to express their deep displeasure with the worrying circumstances in Mangu that have claimed hundreds of local lives.

Remember how gunmen who were thought to be terrorists raided the village last week, shooting at civilians, including helpless women and children who were sleeping.
In response, Solomon Marren, a representative for the Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency in Plateau State in the House of Representatives, disclosed on Wednesday that in recent months, his district had seen 200 or so victims of terrorist attacks.

The lawmaker expressed his regret for the horrific reality of the situation in a statement, saying, "I find it expedient at this time to intimate the world on the unfortunate happenings in my constituency, Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency, Plateau State, in the last two days, where over 100 persons, the majority of them women and children, have been massacred and butchered in cold blood by terrorists during an overnight unprovoked attack.

Their homes were destroyed by fire, along with their food storage facilities, barns, and seedlings.
